Today we remember the fire that struck our parish 30 years ago. What once felt like loss has become a testimony to God’s enduring faith of His people. We give thanks for the priests, religious, and parishioners who helped rebuild our spiritual home, and for all who have prayed, served, through the years.
At this point, St. Francis Parishioners have put our parish in the number one position of all parishes in the Grand Rapids Diocese.
Tomorrow, Giving Tuesday, we can boost those gifts by earning one or more of five (5) challenge grants from the Catholic Foundation of West Michigan. The challenge grants follow with the requirements of each grant next to it:
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated on December 8th each year and is a Holy Day of Obligation. We celebrate the conception without sin of Mary, the mother of God.
