Diocesan Mass Commemorating the Anniversary of Roe v Wade / Misa Diocesana en conmemoración del aniversario de Roe v Wade

The Diocese of Grand Rapids will observe a Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children on January 22. As Catholics, we are deeply committed and concerned about the need to protect human life from the time of conception to natural death.

Bishop Walkowiak will celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew at 7 p.m. in observance of this day. All are invited to attend! Those attending Mass are invited to bring a donation for baby pantries in Grand Rapids and Muskegon run by Catholic Charities West Michigan.

Christians Uniting in Song and Prayer to Observe the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

Christians Uniting in Song and Prayer (CUSP) invites everyone to its annual community-wide worship service in observance of the International Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The service will be held at Second Reformed Church (225 E. Central Ave. in Zeeland) on Sunday, January 26, at 5:00PM.  As usual, the service will feature a large choir accompanied by organ and the De Sales Brass. This year we will be marking the 1700th anniversary of the Nicene Creed, a basic statement of faith proclaimed by Catholic and Protestant Christians around the world.
