The Let MI Kids Learn petition drive is underway to promote educational justice in our state. St. Francis will host a petition drive on Sunday May 1st after all masses, stop by and sign the petions if you wish.
La campaña de petición Let MI Kids Learn está en marcha para promover la justicia educativa en nuestro estado. St. Francis organizará una campaña de petición el domingo 1 de mayo después de todas las misas, pase y firme las peticiones si lo desea.
The drive includes two petitions being circulated for signatures:
Petition 1: Creates student opportunity scholarships to families and those with students with special needs for their out-of-pocket educational expenses.
Petition 2: Would fund these scholarships by giving a state tax credit to those who donate (individuals and companies) to scholarship-granting organizations, including existing Catholic school foundations.
