Our family program and Alpha for Youth kicked off Tuesday, September 12, 2023 and our adult Rescue Project launched Wednesday, September 13, 2023. With the departure of Liz Markovic, Coordinator of Discipleship, our staff and volunteers stepped up to ensure a smooth start to these programs. Thank you to them and their dedication to growing passionate disciples of Jesus Christ. We are also so appreciative of the families choosing to entrust our parish to walk with them on their faith journey as they prepare to celebrate sacraments and generally continue to seek God and His will in their lives.
As part of our launch this year, our adult programming shifted to a new resource called the Rescue Project created by Fr. John Riccardo's XXIX ministry. He serves as the main presenter using many of the great things seen in the Alpha Course we have used in the past in our adult programming, but has build on that as we help people rediscover the kerygma - the first proclamation of our Christian faith. The content also includes aspects of our own Catholic faith helping to make the content even more relatable to our participants.
