Celebrating the International Week of Prayer for Christian Unity I Celebración de la Semana Internacional de Oración por la Unidad de los Cristianos
All are invited to a community-wide service of song and prayer to observe the International Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. For more than 100 years, Christians have gathered during this special week to pray for healing of divisions and the realization of Jesus’ prayer that “all may be one” (John 17: 21). This year’s theme is “Do good; seek justice” (Isaiah 1:17). The service, organized by Christians Uniting in Song and Prayer (cuspholland.org), will be held at Fourteenth Street Christian Reformed Church (14 West 14th Street in Holland) at 5:00PM on Sunday, January 22. Our preacher will be Rev. Jen Adams, and our presider will be Rev. Benjamin Petroelje. The Holland Ecumenical Choir and the De Sales Brass will be featured. Please join us!
Todos están invitados a un servicio comunitario de canto y oración para observar la Semana Internacional de Oración por la Unidad de los Cristianos. Durante más de 100 años, los cristianos se han reunido durante esta semana especial para orar por la sanación de las divisiones y la realización de la oración de Jesús de que “todos sean uno” (Juan 17: 21). El tema de este año es “Haz el bien; busca la justicia” (Isaías 1:17).
