We prayed over our parish catechists this past weekend as we celebrated Catechetical Sunday. The 2018 theme will be "Enlisting Witnesses for Jesus Christ."
Catechetical Sunday is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the role that each person plays, by virtue of Baptism, in handing on the faith and being a witness to the Gospel. Catechetical Sunday is an opportunity for all to rededicate themselves to this mission as a community of faith, so we also prayed over parents and the entire community.
Let's continue to pray for our catechists and strive to live as passionate disciples and witnesses of Jesus Christ.
