Dear Parish Family,
After much prayer and discernment, it has become clear to me that the Holy Spirit is calling me away from St. Francis de Sales. With that, I have accepted an offer to serve as Director of Discipleship and Evangelization at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Muskegon.
This decision has not been an easy one. Working at St. Francis over the last five years has deeply enriched my life and my faith. I will miss all of you who, despite our various backgrounds, welcomed me as a friend, and became more like family.
Despite my departure, I am excited to see all of the ways the Lord will continue to use the parishioners and the staff to build the Kingdom here at St. Francis de Sales and in the greater Holland community. I trust that the Holy Spirit is guiding and governing the Church and what He has in store is far greater than any of us could plan.
I am sincerely grateful for having known and been a part of this community. Know that I am praying for you, the staff and the parish and I look forward to all that the Lord is going to do. It will no doubt be for our good and His glory.
My last weekend at St. Francis will be Sunday, September 17 and my last day in the office will be September 18, 2023. If you are available, I would love to see you before I go.

Querida familia parroquial,
Después de mucha oración y discernimiento, me ha quedado claro que el Espíritu Santo me está llamando a alejarme de San Francisco de Sales. Con eso, acepté una oferta para servir como Directora de Discipulado y Evangelización en Santa Maria de la Inmaculada Concepción en Muskegon.
Esta decisión no ha sido fácil. Trabajar en St. Francis durante los últimos cinco años ha enriquecido profundamente mi vida y mi fe. Extrañaré a todos ustedes que, a pesar de nuestros diversos orígenes, me recibieron como a una amiga y se convirtieron más en una familia.
A pesar de mi partida, estoy emocionada de ver todas las formas en que el Señor continuará usando a los feligreses y al personal de la parroquia para crecer el Reino aquí en San Francisco de Sales y en la comunidad de Holland. Confío en que el Espíritu Santo está guiando y gobernando a la Iglesia y lo que tiene planeado es mejor de lo que cualquiera de nosotros podría planear.
Estoy sinceramente agradecida por haber conocido y ser parte de esta comunidad. Sepan que estoy orando por ustedes, el personal y la parroquia y espero con alegría todo lo que el Señor hará. Sin duda será para nuestro bien y Su gloria.
Mi último fin de semana en St. Francis será el domingo 17 de septiembre y mi último día en la oficina será el 18 de septiembre de 2023. Si están disponibles, me encantaría verlos antes de irme.
