The combined choirs of Harderwyk Ministries and St. Francis de Sales Church will number more that fifty singers for this event. Besides their separate preparation, the St. Francis folks will journey to Harderwyk for a combined rehearsal on May 11th, and the Harderwyk choir will come to St. Francis for their second combined rehearsal on May 19th.  On the day of the festival that choirs will meet together for the third time to warm up and tune up one hour before the festival begins.

Harderwyk Ministries, a ministry of the Christian Reformed Church, is located on the north side of Holland at 160th and Lakewood Drive. The Worship Choir sings at the 9:30 AM Celebration Service. The choir is directed by James DeJong, assisted by Jane Bosco, Organist.

St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, the host for this event, is delighted to welcome our north side neighbors to join with us in what will hopefully be the first of many ecumenical music events celebrated among Holland churches. The St. Francis Choir, known as the English choir, sings at the 10:30 mass every Sunday from Labor Day through Pentecost Sunday. The director of music and liturgy is Phillip Konczyk, who presides over several choirs and instrumental ensembles. For this choir, he is assisted by Bob Batastini.
