The Diocese of Grand Rapids works in partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) for Haiti earthquake relief.  Our brothers and sisters are in need of our support.

CRS has made an initial commitment of $5 million for immediate use in the relief effort. They are mobilizing food and gearing up their emergency capacity, deploying prepositioned emergency shelter and hygiene kits in Haiti, as well as bringing supplies in from the neighboring Dominican Republic.

 It is incomprehensible to grasp the scope of this tragedy. Thank you for your support and your prayers for those suffering in Haiti and for their families and friends living in our communities.
