November 1 – January 2 our food pantry at St. Vincent de Paul Center has again been chosen to partner with the southside Meijer’s. Simply buy a Simply Give card near the cashier. Whatever number of cards you buy, the amount will be matched. On November 13-14 your donation will increase even more. Your $10 will become $30; your $50 will become $150, etc.!
This is a great way to multiply donations to our St. Vincent Center – a wonderful way to help in feeding the hungry in our midst. In our partnership that ended in September the generosity of parishioners at both Holland parishes netted over $12,000 for this ministry! The Simply Give Program greatly assists us in stretching our dollars through the holiday season, the cold winter months and the migrant season.
You can also pick up some of these cards at church and take them with you to the southside Meijer’s. The northside has a different partner. Thank you for sharing in this ministry.
