We are holding a service of lament on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary. We are gathering to express our sorrow regarding the current crisis in the church. We will be praying for the victims of sexual abuse at the hands of church leaders. We also will be praying for the Church. The service will be based on a form of prayer called Taize which uses a mixture of song, scripture, and meditation. We encourage parishioners and anyone who would like to pray with us to attend. We also invite parishioners to make Wednesday a day of fasting (typically one normal meal, two small meals, and no snacking between meals).
