About the Retreat

Goal: To know and experience Jesus in order to love him, serve him and preach about him, because eternal life consist in knowing him.

“During the course we will take an in-depth look at the synoptic Gospels (Mark, Matthew and Luke) in four parts:

  • First, through the life and personality of each evangelist
  • Second, through his writings
  • Third through his particular vision of Jesus
  • And fourth, through the analysis of a Gospel passage that summarizes his message.

John will take a unique path and will be studied differently

Our Guest Speakers

Father Stéphane Pouliot is the secretary on the National Council of the St. Andrew School of Evangelization in Canada. He is a diocesan priest incardinated in the Archdiocese of Kingston since his ordination on May 24th 2003 in St. Mary's Cathedral in Kingston, located in the province of Ontario, north of New York State, near the 1000 Islands Bridge.

Father Stéphane has been involved in the St. Andrew School of Evangelization since 2009 and has sat on the National Council of the St. Andrew School of Evangelization in Canada since at least 2011 as the representative and contact for all English-speaking schools in Canada.

He has personally collaborated in the translation of all manuals of the first level of the formation program of SASE, as well as Andrew, Joseph Barnabas. He has worked in collaboration with lay people in the USA, Mexico and Canada in translating foundational documents and banners for numerous courses of SASE.

Since he began attending and translating in English from French for the trilingual National SASE formation in Canada, beginning in January 2010, he has attended the International Seminar in September 2014 where he was the translator for the Canadian English-speaking delegation from French to English.

Father Stéphane is the parish priest of a cluster of three parishes in the countryside in addition to his weekly responsibilities at the Cathedral of Kingston. Please pray for him and the balance of his life between contemplation and action as a missionary disciple.

Kimberly Long is a wife, mother, and grandmother to eight wonderful, energetic rug rats. She currently lives in beautiful Ontario, Canada, where she works as a parish administrator. After ten years of establishing the Alpha program in both Catholic and Evangelical Protestant Churches, she was intrigued when asked to attend her first St. Andrew course in February 2008. As a result of that course, the first English speaking St. Andrew School of Evangelization was founded in Canada. She currently serves on the leadership team in Belleville, Ontario, and has been involved in the development and formation of five other English speaking Schools in Canada.
