St. Francis de Sales Parish

St. Francis de Sales Parish has a variety of programs geared to children from infancy through 5^th grade.

• In our beautiful and spacious nursery we not only tend to the needs of the small child but we also read books and have coloring pages based on scripture.
• Classes, based on scripture, for children ages 4-6 are offered during each of the Sunday morning Masses.
• Children 1^st grade through 5^th are invited to participate in the Liturgy of the Word With Children in our Day Chapel.  Both the younger children and the older children are dismissed from Mass just before the Liturgy of the Word.  The older children return to Mass at the Creed and the younger children remain in the nursery until after Mass.  This is done at both English Masses and the Spanish Mass.
• Classes in English for grades 1 through 5 are held Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm in the lower level of Church.
• Preparation for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist are usually completed in the second grade during the Wednesday night classes.
• Classes for older children needing sacramental preparation are held in English Tuesdays 6:30-8:00pm.
• Vacation Bible School in July
• Annual activities include the Living Rosary, Trunk or Treat, Christmas Eve Family Mass, Mardi Gras, Station of the Cross and an Ice Cream Social.
