Sixth Week of Lent – Palm Sunday – The Passion
This week we walk with Jesus through his passion, death, and resurrection.  We begin to experience the sacrifice he made for us and how we are also called to give our life for others.  Catholic Relief Services’ Operation Rice Bowl has helped us walk with our sisters and brothers who daily take up the cross of poverty.  Through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving we unite ourselves in the one human family that is God’s creation.As part of our community’s observance of Lent, we ask you to consider participating as a family in Operation Rice Bowl.  This is a program of prayer, fasting, learning, and giving.  Rice bowls will be available on the first Sunday of Lent.  Visit www.orb.crs.org for more information.
