How to Recognize God’s Presence and Voice

In response to Jesus’ prayer, the Father has granted us the gift of the Holy Spirit who is described by Jesus as our Advocate before the Father.  Jesus goes even further when He says that the Holy Spirit will dwell within us.  Thus the Holy Spirit is the creator and keeper of our souls/spirits.  Discernment is essentially life in and with the Holy Spirit.  We will examine our life in the Spirit and how it unfolds in every day life and circumstances.

Michael Fonseca is the author of two books on spirituality:  Loving the Master’s Footsteps and Living in God’s Embrace.  For over 20 years, Michael has had a spiritual direction practice and conducted retreats for parishes, religious communities and diocesan clergy throughout the United States as well as several other countries.
