Fecha:
Miércoles, Diciembre 9, 2009 - 6:30pm

December 9

Emmanuel means “God with us”.  In what ways is God with us, born for us, and within us, this Christmas?  Embedding in the Christmas Scriptures are issues such as the roles of women in society, fatherhood-then and now, the intersection of religion and politics, the role suffering plays in salvation, the importance of strangers in our lives, the relationship of world religion to one another and God’s celebration of humankind.  Prepare for this Christmas with an adult spiritual reflection on the meaning and message of the Christmas story.

Presenter:  Fr. Mark-David Janus, CSP, PhD is a Paulist priest and clinical psychologist who currently serves as the Director of the Catholic Information Center and Rector of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids.
