Classes for Children, Teens, and Families

English
Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at St. Francis Church (Grades 1-5)
- Traditional program, using Sadlier Publisher's We Believe/Creemos Program, with the following topics: Grade 1: God Loves Us; Grade 2: First Reconciliation/First Communion; Grade 3: We Are the Church; Grade 4: God's Law Guides Us; Grade 5: We Meet Jesus in the Sacraments.
Christian Initiation of Children, Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at St. Francis Church (Grades 2-12)
- This program meets on Tuesday evenings, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. for children and teens, and monthly for parents.
- This program is designed for children and teens who are older than 2nd grade and want to be prepared to celebrate their First Communion.
- If they have not yet been baptized, they will be prepared for Baptism.
- If they are over 9th grade, they will also be prepared to be confirmed.
- This program is designed to meet the needs of active and busy families. Each session includes time with all ages as well as age-specific groups on a common theme. The family is given a "Home Packet" of activities for the upcoming month.
- Second graders can be prepared through this program for their First Reconciliation and First Communion. Preparation is primarily done by parents at home, with materials provided.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)-Jr.
- This program serves the children of adults joining the Church through the R.C.I.A. process.
Spanish
Christian Initiation of Children, Sundays, 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. St. Francis Church (Grades 2-12)
- This program meets on Sunday afternoons for children and teens, and monthly for parents.
- This program is designed for children and teens who are older than 2nd grade and want to be prepared to celebrate their First Communion.
